Memory Box Debutante Notecards & Candy Winner

Hello Everyone and Happy Thursday! Ummmm Thursday already again...can you believe that? Time's flying and only about 89 Days til Christmas...LOL. Are you counting already ???
Today I have some note cards to share. I made them using the Memory Box Debutante Frames all available at Dutch Paper Crafts. Just email Darlene with your order. With this die set you can make up a card really quickly. For 3 of my note cards I used the  98297 Debutante Frame  as base.

On my first card I used in addition to the base the 98298 Vaudeville Frame. The little adorable monster is a SCACD stamp from the Susana Love's Stamps Monster collection called 'Monster Mash'. I stamped the Monster onto X-press it! card using Tuxedo Black ink from Memento. It was then colored using Copics Sketch markers and ShinHan Touch Twin markers. To embellish I've added white sheer and organza ribbon some rhinestones, a glazed brad and a button. The sentiment comes with the stamp.

On my second note card I used the 98299 Twirling Vine Frame. The image and sentiment is from Whimsy  'A touch of elegant furniture' from Raindrop Echo Designs. DP is from Basic Grey's 'Sugared' collection. The image was stamped with Memento 'Rich Cocoa' directly onto the DP and cut out using Spellbinders Labels 8 dies. Embellishemnts used: Button, Scrappers Floss, Stickles and Organza Ribbon.

On the third note card I used that gorgeous tree frame (98300 Orchard Tree Frame) and decorated it with some punched out flowers from an EK Success flower border punch. The grass is made using the Martha Stewart icicle border punch upside down. Sentiment is from Whimsy. Embellishments: Rhinestones and Stickles.

Last but not least the fourth note card in the set is a condolence card. Again I used the tree frame (98300 Orchard Tree Frame) but this time plain and simple. DP is from my stash and the Sentiment and die to cut out the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.

Wesley the Polar Bear

Happy Monday Everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are off to a good start into the new week. I have another 'icy creations' to show to you. I thought I better post it soon as Spring is not far and no one wants to see Winter creations then anymore ;-) My card shows another of  Memory Box's super cute polar bears. This one is called Wesley Bear. First I stamped the image onto card stock and then cut it out using the matching polar bear die. You can get both, the die and stamp, HERE from DutchPaperCrafts!

For the background I used the Memory Box Birch Background Stamp and some coarse snow glitter from Martha Stewart. I kept the card more simple just decorated with a few paper flowers, ribbon and some cut outs made with the Memory Box Snowflake Corner Die. All the stamps and dies from the Memory Box Polar Bear release are available from Dutch Paper Crafts! And if you are looking for something particular from Memory Box I'm sure Darlene will be able to order it for you, just drop her a line! As it's been a few already since I made this card I can not remember the make of the DP, sorry! Oh and of course the polar bear was colored with Copics. Even if his name is Wesley I colored his scarf pink ;-)

A closer look on the polar bear and the background.

Thanks for stopping by and make sure you'll stop by Wednesday for some magazine news ;-)

Squeezes,
Iris

Polar Bear Kisses

Happy Friday Friends! Yep I finally made it to post my second polar bear card this week :-) These cute polar bears from memory box are not only super adorable but can also be used for so many occasions besides Christmas and Winter! I used this cute 'Fredward Bear' to make a Valentines card.

I really like to cut my images out but don't do that very often because I hate cutting out by hand...lol. Another advantage with these stamps.... they are coming with matching dies! So no more hassle cutting the images out by hand...YAY. You can get the stamps and dies of these cute Polar bears from Dutch Paper Crafts HERE. But better hurry Darlene has only limited supplies on these!

Some info on the materials I used:
Coloring: Copics, DP: Bo Bunny Crush Collection, Mulberry Paper Flowers, Sentiment & Mini Ticket Die: Whimsy, Tangled Hearts Border B143 and Heartland America DL110 : Cheery Lynne dies from Dutch Paper Crafts.

The party hat is also a Memory Box die and actually called Santa Hat

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Luv & hugs

Iris

Cute Little Polar Bears & Some DT News!

Hello all! Today I have some news I like to share with you! I recently joined the DT from Dutch Paper Crafts. Dear Darlene, the owner of Dutch Paper Crafts, asked me a while ago if I would like to join her team and I happily accepted :-) Darlene sells all different kinds of products from Nellie Snellen, Marianne Design, Joy Crafts, Cheery Lynne Design, Memory Box, Just Rite Stamps, Heartfelt Creations etc. Darlene always was my primary source for getting the newest Marianne Design and Joy Craft Dies as well as Cheery Lynne Dies etc. Just visit her blog and type in the search box what you are looking for! Darlene always has very competitive prices and if you purchase a whole set you'll get an extra discount! How to order? That's pretty easy, just write Darlene an email with the products you like to purchase, your PayPal email and your zip code for shipping cost calculations. Darlene will get back to you with the total and an PP invoice. It's that simple!

Darlene not only lists what she sells on her blog she also always makes wonderful videos to show you how things work and how they actually look cut out or stamped. This is such an advantage to be able to see how certain die cut pieces look and not just see the plain die in a photo.

Her newest video is about the cute Polar Bear stamps and matching dies from Memory Box, a snowflake corner die and a beautiful flourish die also from Memory Box. I made some samples for Darlene and you can see them all in the video here. You will also find all the prices and pictures of the items listed on her blog HERE. If you buy the whole set  you will get a great discount. Go and check it out!

Over the next couple of days I like to show you the cards I made with this cute Polar Bear set from Memory Box. Here is my first card using Colin Bear Stamp with the matching Colin Bear Die and the gorgeous La Rue Flourish Die.

I colored the polar bear using my Copics. DP is also from Memory Box, called 'Yuletide' and matches the polar bears perfectly. Flowers, ribbon and other embellies are from my stash.

Please come back tomorrow when I like to show you another Polar Bear creation.

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!
