Dutch Paper Crafts - Heartfelt Creations Tattered Blossoms Release Part II

Happy Valentines Day Everyone! Hope you all have a day full of LOVE-liness today! :)  Sorry I'm a day late with posting the second part of my  Heartfelt Creations Tattered Blossoms Release creations for DutchPaperCrafts. But now here they are:

On this card I used the Heartfelt Creations TatteredBlossom Swirl  pre-cut Stamp Set HCPC3469 as well as the Tattered Blossoms Die  HCD 722. Sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps Friendship Notables 2 and cut out with a Whimsy Shapeology die Notables 2. Other dies used are from Spellbinders - floral ovals and classic ovals.

As usual the image was colored using Copics.

On the inside I stamped a smaller Tattered Blossom Swirl image to complement the outside.

As for my second card I used the collage stamp from the Heartfelt Creations Tattered Blossom Set HCPC 3471.

I used heavy cardstock in shimmery brown for the base, bling cardstock in antique pink as layer and Arjo Wiggins curious iridescent ivory card to stamp my image/background on. Ink is Memento rich cocoa. I also distressed the edges from the ivory cardstock using my Zutter- 'Distrezz It All'. I stamped flowers onto the antique pink cardstock with the HCPC 3468 set and then cut it out using the flower petals dies  HCD 722

To embellish my card I only used some pearls, a pearl brad and organza ribbon.

On the inside I stamped one of the larger flowers from the HCPC 3468 set.

I hope you liked my Heartfelt Creations inspiration cards I made for DutchPaperCrafts. Darlene has these and lots of other dies in stock. Just shoot her an email with what you are looking for and she will get back to you with the details. And don't forget to watch her amazing video!

Dutch Paper Crafts - Heartfelt Creations Tattered Blossoms Release

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday! Today I like to show you two creations I made for DutchPaperCrafts. Darlene has the gorgeous Heartfelt Creations Tattered Blossoms for sale now! As always there is fantastic video available on the DPC blog put together by Darlene to showcase these stamps and dies. You can see the the stamps and dies as well as my creations close up and Darlene explains everything. You don't want to miss it. Just grab a cup of your favorite beverage and enjoy!

The Tattered Blossom release are beautiful pre-cut flower red rubber stamps with matching dies made by Spellbinders! This is part one of my release creations, part two is following tomorrow :-)

My first project with these gorgeous flower stamps is a criss-cross card:

I stamped the image (HCPC 3469 Tattered Blossoms Swirls) onto X-press it! card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it using my Copics. I cut the image out with Spellbinders labels 25. I then stamped the extra petals (HCPC 3468), colored them and cut them out using the matching dies (HCD 722). After that I brought them in shape using a ball embossing tool and a foam mat. Layered them offset on top of the main image to achieve a 3D effect.

On the inside I used another stamp from the HCPC 3469 Tattered Blossoms Swirls and the sentiment is from Whimsy's Darling Daisie's set.

On the inside I used a Nellie Snellen 'Rose Leave' punch together with the HCD 722 dies.

DP is from Simple Stories 'Summer Fresh' collection, Flowers are from WOC and the rhinestone swirls are from 'Want 2 Scrap'.

My second creation I made with these dies is a little cupcake topper.

To make the topper I used the HCD 722 die and a circle punch as well as some glitter and ribbon.

Part two of my Heartfelt Creations Tattered Blossoms creations will be shown tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Whimsy Prints Blog Hop

Hi everyone and welcome to the Whimsy Prints BLOG HOP! In October, Whimsy Stamps announced the release of a BRAND NEW Whimsy Stamps product line - the Whimsy Prints Collection. The Whimsy Prints Collection are beautiful sets of hand-colored images which have been digitally reproduced and die-cut into various shapes. Whimsy Prints are printed on 100lb premium coated paper and professionally die-cut leaving smooth edges. Each pack contains 12 die-cut prints (3 sets of 4 images). The Crissy Armstrong prints are lovingly hand-colored by Crissy Armstrong herself:

The Elisabeth Bell prints have been hand-colored by our talented Senior Designer Simonne Clay:

Whimsy Prints Collection are very straight forward and easy to use. They can be attached directly to your project with glue or double sided tape. Use them as is or cut to fit the needs of your project. One of the benefits of using Whimsy Prints is to cut back on the amount of time needed to hand color images. To summarize, it is a great way to make quick projects when time is of the essence! These are also wonderful for beginner crafters and kid projects. If you joined us for our last 2 releases, you may have seen some of the beautiful projects our DT and Special Guests have created using these prints. Today we are showcasing these gorgeous Whimsy Prints with a special BLOG HOP! In addition to our regular Special Guests, we are delighted to welcome both Crissy Armstrong and Elisabeth Bell who are joining us for this hop! The hop starts today (Friday November 30th at 12.00PM EST) and ends on Monday December 3rd at 12.00PM EST. For this hop we have 4 different candy stops where you can enter to win a set of Whimsy Prints. The location of these candy stops is a secret, so if you haven't found them, please go back to the beginning and start hopping! If you would like to hop along with us today and haven’t arrived from Tammy Louise's  blog, please CLICK HERE to return to the beginning of the hop at Bev's blog

For my creation today I used one of Whimsy's Elisabeth Bell prints from the Merry Christmas collection:

I made an Ornament using the print of 'Two Turtle Doves'. The ornament was cut out using Marianne Creatables dies called Petra's Ovals. I also added some lace, gauze, ribbon and a snowflake ornament. The star burst brad is a Karen Foster brad.

The back of the ornament is decorated using all dies from the Petra's ovals die set LR0240

So now it’s time for you to continue the hop by hopping over to Crissy's  blog.

If you would like to see more Whimsy Prints projects, check out our latest mini magazine over on our Issuu site. This mini issue is filled with beautiful projects, all using prints from the Whimsy Prints Collections.

Dutch Paper Crafts - Marianne Creatables Release

Hello and Happy Thursday Everyone! Today I'd like to show you a card I made using Marianne Creatables LR 0241 und LR0242. Darlene from Dutch Paper Crafts has just released these Marianne Design Creatables called Petra's Ovals and Anja's Squares & Labels. As always Darlene has put up a fantastic video to show you samples (this time made by me ;-) ) with these dies! To see all the different dies available please visit the Dutch Paper Crafts blog!

Note: Unfortunately I have to put my watermark from now on right on the card and also on part of the colored image (or at least close to it) instead of in one of the corners. Again one of my images was copied from my blog, printed out and re-used as 'own creation' from the thief. Well that happened before as well as the whole cards got copied and put on other blogs and I even saw one of my creations on Etsy one time as sample for a 'made-to-order' item. Awww this really makes me sick! And I hate to do it but for my future creations I will think of a different watermark which is right on top of part of the colored image/center of the card. Sorry for this but I'm really tired of finding my creations/images on other peoples blogs :-/

On my card and box I used dies from the Creatables sets LR 0241 und LR0242. The Magnolia image was colored using Copics (Darlene can get you Magnolia images as well!!). Papers are from Bo Bunny's 'Powder Mountain' collection.

Copics used: -- will be added later today --

Decorated inside of the card...

...and the matching box:

Thankls for stopping by and have a nice day!

Memory Box Debutante Notecards & Candy Winner

Hello Everyone and Happy Thursday! Ummmm Thursday already again...can you believe that? Time's flying and only about 89 Days til Christmas...LOL. Are you counting already ???
Today I have some note cards to share. I made them using the Memory Box Debutante Frames all available at Dutch Paper Crafts. Just email Darlene with your order. With this die set you can make up a card really quickly. For 3 of my note cards I used the  98297 Debutante Frame  as base.

On my first card I used in addition to the base the 98298 Vaudeville Frame. The little adorable monster is a SCACD stamp from the Susana Love's Stamps Monster collection called 'Monster Mash'. I stamped the Monster onto X-press it! card using Tuxedo Black ink from Memento. It was then colored using Copics Sketch markers and ShinHan Touch Twin markers. To embellish I've added white sheer and organza ribbon some rhinestones, a glazed brad and a button. The sentiment comes with the stamp.

On my second note card I used the 98299 Twirling Vine Frame. The image and sentiment is from Whimsy  'A touch of elegant furniture' from Raindrop Echo Designs. DP is from Basic Grey's 'Sugared' collection. The image was stamped with Memento 'Rich Cocoa' directly onto the DP and cut out using Spellbinders Labels 8 dies. Embellishemnts used: Button, Scrappers Floss, Stickles and Organza Ribbon.

On the third note card I used that gorgeous tree frame (98300 Orchard Tree Frame) and decorated it with some punched out flowers from an EK Success flower border punch. The grass is made using the Martha Stewart icicle border punch upside down. Sentiment is from Whimsy. Embellishments: Rhinestones and Stickles.

Last but not least the fourth note card in the set is a condolence card. Again I used the tree frame (98300 Orchard Tree Frame) but this time plain and simple. DP is from my stash and the Sentiment and die to cut out the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.

Walter - Joy to the World

Hello everyone! Hope you all are having a great week so far! Today I have some early Christmas greetings for you from 'Walter the Moose'. It's a Magnolia stamp from this years fall collection if I'm not mistaken. He is just too adorable and I couldn't resist on getting this cutie.

I stamped him with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-press it card. Of course he was colored with Copic's (E30's, E70's and W-grays) like always. The outline was done with pencils and OMS. The designer papers are from an older Basic Grey collection called 'Jovial' I love these papers. The snow under his feet is 'Shaved Ice' from Stampendous. The snow on the fence and trees is made with  Snow-Tex (DecoArt) and Aleene's True Snow. Pearl swirls are from Want to Scrap.
The dies I've used on the outside of the card are Marianne Design Creatables LR0136 Christmas Tree and LR0205 Fence and Magnolia Heart Swirl and Star Tag. You can get them all at Dutch Paper Crafts. Darlene doesn't have the Magnolias in stock but she can order them for you and you know she always has good prices! Just drop her an email and she will be happy to answer your questions and help you!

The flowers are from WOC , ribbon is from Whimsy Stamps and lace from my stash

I also decoratd the inside. Acutally all four sides of this card are decorated! Sentiment is one of the Whimsy freebies Denise sends out with orders. Dies on the inside are again the tree from Marianne Design and Snowflake and Poinsettia from Spellbinders (Darlene can also get the Spellbinders for you!)

The back side of the card

And because this card is pretty bulky and wont fit in an envelope I made a matching box decorated with the same DP, ribbon and string as I used on the card. And as a finishing touch I've added a glittery snowflake ornament and a Christmas tree charm.

This card is available for sale in my Etsy Boutique 'Delightful Card Design'
Card has been sold to Heike F., thanks so much hun!!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Hugs,
